When you reach a certain milestone, you have version of your product that is ready for real world testing. You select a group of real users to try out your new product under real conditions. Your product should be generally fairly close in look, feel and function to the final product.
Part of my job is to help you figure out who to have testing your product. If you're building a sports betting app, targeting users who have little to no interest in gambling (even if they're sports enthusiasts) would only lead you astray. Need to source outside of your current user base? We can leverage tools to help you find those people.
I will put together an action plan for you and your team that outlines how you're going to find testers, recruit them and convince them to test, build a progress tracking doc that you can use to compile incoming insights, and help you with hitting your exit criteria. I can be available throughout the course of your beta program, or you can simply hire me to craft the plan and step back.
Not sure if you need to run a beta program? I'm here to discuss the potential payoffs from running one with real world testers, and why in-house testing & QA may not provide you with all the answers you're looking for.
